  Good quiet time to focus on the purpose for being there. Homilies are usually intellectually challenging and priests are always available for dialogue and discussion.

  This church is fantastic! The priests - members of the Dominican order - are superb in their knowledge of Scripture, insight into the spiritual life, and eloquence of preaching. The liturgy is beautifully celebrated according to the norms of the Catholic Church, including Gregorian chant at some of the masses. My family has benefited tremendously from the relationships we have formed here, particularly, in my wife's case, through the Charlottesville Catholic Moms. The parish is actively engaged in campus ministry but also includes many young families. Its various outreach projects include local charities as well as support to a parish in Haiti.
